Presentation of the HELP Distance LearningCourse on “Reasoning of Criminal Judgments”

On 23rd October of the running year, in the framework of the HELP platform, the High School of Justice hosted an opening event of distance learningcourse – “Reasoning of Criminal Judgments”.

The distance learning course is designed for the court staff and 20 court staff from Tbilisi Court of Appeals, Tbilisi City Court and Rustavi City Court participates. After completing the training course, each participant will receive a completion certificate.

The course has been adapted to Georgian legislation and case-law by Georgian judge-experts: the Chairman of the Criminal Law Chamber of Tbilisi Court of Appeals - Mr. Levan Tevzadze and a judge of Tbilisi City Court – AleksandreIashvili.

The project is organized in the framework of a mutual project of European Union and the Council of Europe – “Strengthening the application of the European Convention on Human Rights in Georgia”, and it is financed by the European Union (in the framework of Partnership for Good Governance Program).
