Ensuring Effective Access to Justice for People with Disabilities

On May 6 and 7, with the support of the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR), Training on Ensuring Effective Access to Justice for People with Disabilities is being conducted for judges at the High School of Justice.

Doctor of Law/Associate Professor, Caucasus International University Teimuraz Todria and Executive Director of the Movement for Accessible Environment for Everyone Giorgi Akhmeteli have been invited to the training as experts.

13 judges from Tbilisi and Kutaisi Courts of Appeal, Tbilisi, Batumi, Kutaisi and Rustavi City Courts, Akhaltsikhe, Ambrolauri, Gori and Bolnisi District Courts attended the seminar.

The training is envisaged by the 2016 In-Service Training Program of Judges and Court Staff.
