Prohibition of Discrimination – Domestic Law and International Standards.

On May 16-17 and 18-19, with the support of the Council of Europe (COE), training on “Prohibition of Discrimination – Domestic Law and International Standards” was conducted for judges and assistants to judges at the High School of Justice.

Ivana Roana, an expert of the Council of Europe on Prohibition of Discrimination, Ketevan Meskhishvili, judge of Tbilisi Court of Appeals and Irakli Adeishvili, an expert and former judge of Tbilisi Court of Appeals were invited as experts to the Training.

21 judges and assistant judges from Tbilisi Court of Appeals, Tbilisi, Batumi, Kutaisi, Rustavi City Courts and Zugdidi, Akhaltsikhe, Gori, Bolnisi, Sighnaghi and Gurjaani Regional Courts attended the training.

The training was envisaged by the Training Program 2016 for Sitting Judges and other Court Staff.
