Freedom of Expression, Including Issues Related to Hate Speech

On 1-2 June, with the support of Council of Europe and within the framework between EU and UN office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights (UN OHCHR) joint Program “Human Rights for Everyone”, was held the training on “Freedom of Expression, Including Issues Related to Hate Speech” for judges.

Konstantin Korkelia, Permanent Representative of Georgia to the Council of Europe and Ralf Alevaldt, Expert of Council of Europe were invited as experts to the seminar. 

17 judges from: Tbilisi Appeal Court, Tbilisi and Rustavi City Courts, Sokhumi and Gagra-Gudauta, Ozurgeti, Samtredia, Bolnisi, Gurjaani and Telavi District Courts attended the training.

The training was envisaged by the 2017 In-Service Training Program of Judges and Court Staff.
