Leadership and Management for the Judges, Court Chairmen and Court Managers

On 8 June, at the High School of Justice, the first working meeting of the experts, who are involved to develop the curriculum was held on “Leadership and Management for judges, Court Chairmen and Court Managers”. The process was carried out within the framework of the Council of Europe (CoE) project “Strengthening Capacities of the High School of Justice”.

Georgian Experts and Two experts of Council of Europe are involved in the elaborating the curriculum. The aim of the meeting was to identify the issues, which are considered in the curriculum, elaborating of the agenda of the training module and initiate the preparation of materials.

In order to get acquainted with the Georgian Judicial system and the existing challenges, foreign experts visited Tbilisi Court of Appeals and City Court on June 9.

At the next stage, for the Georgian trainers, who are involved in the process will be held the training of trainers on the content of the course, which will be hosted by the foreign experts.

The curriculum will be used within the framework “Judges and Other Court Officials Retraining Program”. Trainings about mentioned topic will be conducted by the Georgian trainers, who are involved in the curriculum elaborating process.
