Leadership and Management at Court

On September 22-23 and 24-25, 2017 the High School of Justice within the framework of the Council of Europe (CoE) project “Strengthening Capacities of the High School of Justice” in Borjomi, “Rixos Hotels”, conducted 2 trainings on Leadership and Management at Court. The first training was conducted for the court managers and the second training – for judges and court presidents.

The seminar was led by the judges/trainers, who were involved in the development of training curriculum on abovementioned topic. In particular, judge of Tbilisi Court of Appeal - George Mirotadze; Head of Bureau of Chairman of Tbilisi Court of Appeals - Ucha Todua; Head of Department of International Cooperation and Quality Management of the High Council of Justice – Aleksandre Tsuladze; Head of Department of Legal and Material Support of the High Council of Justice – Giorgi Pavladze and Deputy Head of the Department of International cooperation and Quality Management of the High Council of Justice - Shorena Gigauri. CoE expert – Bert Maan also participated in the process of development of the curricula along with Georgian experts/trainers.

The training was envisaged under the In-service Training Program 2017 for Judges and Other Court Staff.
