Ensuring Effective Availability of Justice for Persons with Disabilities

September 24-25 of the current year the High School of Justice organizes a training on the topic: “Ensuring Effective Availability of Justice for Persons with Disabilities”.

“Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities” entered into force since April, 2014, based on which the signatory states take a responsibility to support proper education of professionals in the field of legal administration in order to ensure effective availability pf justice for persons with disabilities.

With the consideration of the named fact the High School of Justice starts to give trainings to the corps of judges on the named topic, which also stems out from the obligations undertaken by the state.

Within the frames of training the corps of judges will be provided with a thorough information on the internal and international legal tools, which in their part, create solid guarantees for the protection of rights of the persons with disabilities.

During the training the participants will have an opportunity to test practical examples and the shortcomings or obstacles that the persons with disabilities have to deal with while realizing own rights.

High School of Justice plans to conduct trainings on the named topic throughout the current year and in the future years as well.
