On July 14 the High School of Justice organized training for judges on Current Issues of Criminal Procedure at the House of Justice.
The training was conducted by judge of Supreme Court of Georgia – Zaza Meishvili.
Within the framework of the training, participants discussed the following issues: Witness in Criminal Proceedings; Injured Party in Criminal Proceedings and Participation and Defense of Injured Party and Witness. Participants also discussed the number of recommendations of OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights.
12 judges participated in the training from Tbilisi City Court and Telavi, Senaki, Bolnisi, Signaghi, Akhaltsikhe and Khashuri Regional Courts.
The training was envisaged by the Training Program 2015 for Sitting Judges and othet Court Staff.
