On March 21 and 22, in the scope of the collaboration between the High School of Justice and the Council of Europe (CoE), training on the European Convention of Human Rights and Application thereof was delivered for assistant judges.
Ana-Maria Telbis, the Managing Director of the European Human Rights Association (EHRA) / CoE human rights expert and Nana Mchedlidze, a human rights expert were invited as experts to the seminar.
25 assistant judges from Tbilisi Court of Appeal, Tbilisi and Rustavi City Courts, Zugdidi and Telavi District Courts attended the training.
Participants of the training had registered therefor through the web portal of the High School of Justice.
The training is envisaged by the 2016 In-Service Training Program of Judges and Court Staff.
