On February 23, the High School of Justice held a coordination meeting with donor organizations. In the framework of the meeting, Lasha Maghradze, the Director of the High School of Justice presented information on the activities carried out by the School in 2015 and School’s main priorities in 2016 to representatives of donor organizations.
Last year, a number of successful steps were made in the scope of the priorities stipulated by the Strategic Development Plan of the High School of Justice. Intensive work has been performed in terms of the provision of quality trainings to judicial candidates, sitting judges and court officials as well as organizational development of the High School of Justice and ensuring publicity and transparency.
The following issues remain the main priorities of the current year: continuing the implementation of the Strategic Plan of the High School of Justice; institutional capacity building of the School; integrating curricula on issues relating to commitments undertaken by the state in training programs of the High School of Justice; extension of the duration of training of judicial candidates.
