1980 Hague Convention on the Civil Aspects of International Child Abduction

October 5-8, a training will be held for judges in Borjomi on the “1980 Hague Convention on the Civil Aspects of International Child Abduction” with the support of the High School of Justice and the German Corporation for International Cooperation (GIZ).

Invited experts to the seminar are: Judge of the Supreme Court of Georgia, Ekaterine Gasitashvili, President of the Domestic Justice and International Child Protection Section of Hague District Court, Johan Wisser, Senior Researcher at Utrecht University and Law Expert, Kerstin Bartch, and expert of international private law, Giorgi Svanidze. Respective speeches within the frames of the event will be given by the representatives of the Ministry of Justice of Georgia (central body).

15 judges from Tbilisi and Kutaisi Courts of Appeal and Tbilisi and Kutaisi City Courts will participate in the event.
