Important Issues Related to the trafficking in human beings: Effective Protection of Victims of Trafficking, Particularly children

On May 24-25, with the support of the International Organization for Migration (IOM), training on “Important Issues Related to the trafficking in human beings: Effective Protection of Victims of Trafficking, Particularly children” was organized for judges and assistants to judges at the High School of Justice.

Patricia Fernandez, an expert of the International Organization for Migration (IOM) and Marina Meskhi, expert on trafficking issues were invited as trainers to the training.

22 judges and assistant judges from Tbilisi Court of Appeals, Tbilisi, Poti and Rustavi City Courts, Khelvachauri, Mtskheta and Tetritskaro Regional Courts took part in the training.

The training was envisaged by the Training Program 2016 for Sitting Judges and other Court Staff.
