Training of Trainers (ToT) on the application of the HELP e-platform

 

On January 25-26, the Council of Europe is organizing the Training of Trainers on the e-learning platform created in the field of human rights – HELP (The European Programme for Human Rights Education for Legal Professionals) at the High School of Justice.

HELP platform provides Distance-learning and Self-learning courses for judges, lawyers and legal professionals on the issues related to the European Convention on Human Rights and European standards on human rights. HELP network is composed of representatives from National Training Institutions and Bar Associations of the 47 member states of the Council of Europe.

A range of learning resources on the European Convention on Human Right are available online on the HELP Platform.

Participants of the 2-days-training are acting judges, prosecutors, lawyers and representatives of the Office of Public Defender. The training aims at improvement of participants’ knowledge essential for the implantation of the HELP training methodologies and distance learning.

Director of the High School of Justice - Lasha Maghradze, Head of the Council of Europe Office in Tbilisi - Cristian Urse and Head of the Georgian Bar Association Zaza Khatiashvili welcomed the participants of the Training.
