Certificate Handover

On May 28 of the current year certificates are handed over to the participants of the “special training course for journalists on legal matters” at the High School of Justice.

“Special training course for journalists on legal matters” was developed by the High School of Justice in cooperation with the German Corporation for International Cooperation (GIZ) with the purpose of raising the journalists’ awareness of legal matters. Both, Georgian and German judge experts were involved in training course development process.

The idea of special training course development resulted from the desire of the corps of journalists themselves. The program topics were determined by the High School of Justice with the involvement of journalists.

Special training course consists of two stages and covers the following areas: human rights, constitutional law, criminal law, administrative law, the law of Georgia “on Common Courts”.

This was the first time of holding the named course, but he High School of Justice plans to organize it again in the future for interested journalists.
